About Earnings Perspective
Earnings Perspective is a quarterly publication provides analysis and commentary on the general state of the financial markets and an overview of a select number of companies and their most recent earnings announcement and quarterly filings.
Earnings Perspective delivers insight to make sense of company financial results, particularly after such results have significant impacts on the reporting company’s stock price. At Earnings Perspective we recognize that it is not a sound investment strategy to guess what earnings will be and what real impact such a report will have on the company’s stock price and business model. Therefore, our after the fact analysis and commentary tries to shed light on the realities of a company’s quarterly financial results and the subsequent performance of the company's stock and how such events may create a valuation imbalance and an investment action opportunity.
Each report on an individual company features a recap of financial results, analyst expectations, stock price activity, and relevant industry events. This quarterly publication also features an introductory letter from the editor discussing general market conditions and rationale for the selected companies included in the report. Interviews with offiers of profiled companies and columns from a guest writers may also be included, when available.
Earnings Perspective receives revenue exclusively from subscriptions. There are no advertisers and companies cannot pay to be profiled in the newsletter. This keeps the focus of the content independent, objective, and free from outside financial motivations. The newsletter also limits the number of companies profiled in each issue to avoid a dilutive effect - one of the the publication's goals is insightful commentary on the profiled companies.
